A little background information

My name is Trudy Petroff and for the last seven years I have been teaching a combined preschool and kindergarten class in Nevada. I grew up on a small farm in Idaho and attended BYU-I for a year. I moved to Logan, UT and married my husband in 2007. I finished my bachelor's degree from Utah State University in 2010 and worked as a full time substitute in a first grade class. While teaching in Nevada I received my Master's in Early Childhood from Grand Canyon University in 2013. I have two beautiful girls who keep me busy. I love teaching and look forward to meeting new kids and parents this year.

Parent Teacher Partnership

I believe that learning happens both at home and in the classroom. Parents are an important part of students' success at school. I will do all that I can to help your child in the classroom. I ask parents to support student learning by helping them complete homework and return it to school. If you ever have concerns about your child's homework, or performance and learning in class, please email me or schedule a time to meet. Thank you for allowing me to teach your child!
